Certainly physics designed the bombs, biology the germ warfare, chemistry the nerve gas and so on, but it will be the unhealthy emotions of individuals, the fear, the hate, the jealousy of individuals that will trigger these horrors. These emotions can only be controlled, reshaped, rechanneled, by successful Inner Science.

“There is a crucial difference between bodily sensations and the labels we assign to them. Sensations are a pure and direct experience of energy flowing through the body. You react to these sensations if you label them as good or bad; right or wrong, or want to hold onto them or push away what is present. These reactions are removed as you consciously learn not to act out your fears or suppress them. This converts unconscious reactions into conscious, deliberate responses to real blockages that are truly present in the body. Mental and emotional distortions are released by inward focus and meditative awareness. When you withdraw from reactions to bodily sensations, you return to the direct experience of pure sensation.

Only when we are in direct experience of what is revealed in the body through bodily sensations can we become free from the memory and imaginary fears associated with the body. When we are in touch with the wisdom of the body, self-concepts and fears no longer distort what is revealed. In the absence of pre-programmed labeling, the body lives in the present. When you openly embrace all sensations unconditionally, you re-establish a clear and conscious relationship with present reality.”

Yogi Desai

“If you want the truth to stand clear before you, never be for or against. The struggle “for” and “against” is the mind’s worst disease.”
